Amazing – This cup is absolutely amazing. I ordered it after a really bad morning when I dropped my old favorite bottle and it cracked. It was a bad bad day. A bit of mixed feelings about the bottle not bad. – I’ve been waiting a while to do this review because I didn’t want any thing taken from this as me bad-mouthing it. Because I’m not. Let’s talk about all the pros to this water bottle let’s start with that. There’s a lot of good pros to this water bottle. It could hold a whole thing of ice tray of ice in it to give cold cool refreshing water which is really nice. It has a little mesh catcher inside between the bottle and the lid so you can put fresh fruit or frozen fruit or other stuff to add to your drink which is really nice. To have a little lock mechanism so the lid doesn’t pop open too easily is nice. To have the push button so it opens up for you is nice. I really like the design on the bottle that’s what attracted me to a really wanted to get it because I was trying to find a water bottle that I could hold ice and if I wanted to put fresh fruit or herbs or something to spruce up my water or my ice water I could and the designs on the bottle was really something I was looking for because I couldn’t find that on any other water bottle and it was nice to find that. It’s nice and tall and long but it still fits right in the cup holder very easily which is really nice. It has a nice sturdy durable comfortable handle. Which is nice. Now let’s talk about the cons to the unfortunate that have become kind of a pet peeve now that are just really a bit nerving for me unfortunately. And again I’m not bad-mouthing the water bottle I’m just telling my experiences. Again I want to mention that handle it is nice and it is sturdy, but luckily I’ve been able to get it clean because it gets very dirty very easily it’s not able to come off which is nice because ones that do come off you have a hard time putting back on. But be prepared that it’s probably going to look a bit grungy at times and it is what it is if. If that’s something that bothers you keep that in mind. Otherwise there are times it looks kind of dirty and grungy then I’m able to get it washed up pretty good and looks pretty good and it’s fine all is good. I have kids and it gets knocked over a lot it is not at all waterproof everything leaks out pours out does not matter if the cap is securely closed, it leaks. The water does not taste so great unless you do put ice with it just putting plain cool water for me taste as refreshing it tasted like as if the water was a bit hot and I did put cooling water in it I just didn’t put ice in it with it. You have to remember to sufficiently hold the cap because even when you pop the button and the cap going back and putting it back far enough and I have now caught on to holding it with my pinky or holding it with another finger while drinking it will fly back and hit you in the face it’s hit me in the nose cheek it even caught me in the eye. I was not expecting it I just pop the button the cap came open it was sufficiently back I went to get a drink and it came swinging back and smacked me right in the face. after enough times of that doing it to me and me finally realizing to remember to think about that without taking a drink and not thinking I try not to do that no more. I try to remember to hold the cap at all times. It has moments of when I’m pushing the button and it doesn’t want to pop open it sticks kind of frustrating irritating. If you don’t have the right bottle brush I ended up using two different baby bottle brushes to wash it. Once you find the right tools it is very easy to clean it’s very convenient and I do very much recommend that you wash it by hand really good before just sticking in the washer. I wash everything by hand anyways so it was one of those it’s going to be washed by hand anyways. But another person I know that had gotten one she didn’t wash it by hand and she’s been washing with the dishwasher she ain’t eating it up just tossing it out because it collected something or something and it got really nasty it just it got really nasty. I also noticed that it’s not very sufficient to keep the ice cold it almost makes the ice melt even faster. From my experience the ice melts even faster and I do drink water lots of water and I usually drink it pretty quickly. I get it down pretty quickly but those times I’m just doing minor small sips here and there my ice melts very quickly it melts the ice quick. Having the spout to drink from is really nice it does flow out really good but at the same time if it gets knocked over that spout because there’s nothing that holds to prevent it from leaking, it leaks everywhere. My toddler knocked over my water bottle and when I went to go sit down where she had knocked it over my seat was soaking wet. Again I really do like the water bottle because it does fit plenty of ice and I can put a lot of different things like fresh fruits even fresh herbs from like mint to even if you want to try Rosemary or something maybe. It fits in there and it has that nice little mesh so nothing slides forward into where you go to drink from the spout spot. And the spout spots not super big it fits your mouth perfectly where my little ones can even drink from it and that’s really nice to have. But like I said I’m not bad-mouthing it I’m just giving my honest experience from the experience I’ve had with it. Would I buy it again knowing all this yes because it does fit in the cup holder it does fit all this ice I need/can use. But just have to be super careful because it does spill and leak everywhere.
