Great buy, but you’ll need extra bungees – Hi, I am a novice avid cycler that have used a wide range of bikes and equipment.

Works great with pickup truck – Bought this bike rack because we were going on a road trip & wanted to bring the bikes for more outdoor things to do. I am also always bringing the bikes back & forth to our campground & having to load them into the bed of the truck can be annoying. When I was looking at the reviews for this product I saw a bunch that were geared towards SUVs & only a couple for pickup trucks. Here’s my review after taking one test drive with this bike rack.

Good foldable carrier – I used this to move 3 full size bikes 2000 miles cross country and didn’t have a single issue. I ran a separate cable lock though the bikes for security.

Functions well – I’ve used this bike rack for a season now, it has performed well. Love the fold down feature for the horizontal bike holder and it tips out of the way to open the back door of the SUV. I found it easy to assemble. The only thing I do is add a Velcro strap over the bike tie straps for that little bit of added security when carting bikes on the highway, around town I just use the straps that come with the rack. Use a bungy to keep the bike from rocking. Seems like a good sturdy bike rack, hope to have it for many years.

Not for heavy ebikes – Even though says 140 pounds for four bikes. Two ebikes at 66 each will not work. The lock failed from all the bouncing on our drive. My ebikes were destroyed when lock slip up and out and they dragging on the road. Sad sad day!
