Only “properly” fits tight double thread – The threads on it work better and seal better when the bottle has tight double thread, not the single wider almost double thread. The drinking part is not a quick pop lid,rather and unscrew lid. That’s fine if you not riding bikes and need to open it quickly. Good for say a in the work office or casual at home bottle. Difficult to show, but the metal bottle has the wider thread. The plastic bottle has the tighter double thread.

Great overall – I’m tired of straws. Got this lid for the kids’ hydro flasks and they are perfect. The handle is sturdy for carrying, the cap is easy to screw on and off, and no worries of what could be living in the straw since there isn’t one. Only downside but not a deal breaker is you have to make sure the seal is properly in place when screwing on. Not an issue for adults but for kids maybe.

Did not fit my water bottle – I did not have high expectations for the lid considering I got the water bottle from a small business. the lid was a little bit too big but the lid itself is great. leak proof and sturdy considering how clumsy I am I have not broken it yet. The lid will only fit hydro flasks! I tried it on other water bottles and it only for the hydro.
