Complicated – The net was nice and has a nice thing to it this takes a while to figure out how to put it on. After that, you have to grab pliers to clamp the hooks, or else they will fall off consistently. This wasn’t too much of a struggle but just wished that step wasn’t been added.

Works and installs as expected – Works and installs as expected. Using on an outdoor, public court. It’s starting to show signs of use after a couple months. May be fine for home/private use.

High Quality chain, somewhat laborious to install *Remember to crimp* – This is a high quality chain made for outdoors. Looks solid and by all accounts won’t rust. The only downside is that you can’t just hang it and forget it. The hooks need to be crimped with pliers. Otherwise, the net unhooks from rim after a few shots. So about 30 minutes worth of work. But once it is installed, you are set.

JUST ONE PROBLEM – This is definitely better than string nets…it will outlast them. However, this easily detaches from the basketball hooks. Kind of annoying. Nevertheless, I can live with it because I know that I won’t have to buy another one for several years.

Great Net. Some Reviewers Didn’t Install Right – Great basic chain net. Some of the reviews talk about it falling off. When you install the hooks you are supposed to use pliers to clamp down and close the hooks to hold it onto the rim.

Better than rope – Easy to install, more durable than rope, it makes my shots very smooth when I hear the swoosh like a wind chime celebrating as I sink my 1 out of 20 free throws.

Good steel net. Get it. – Looks like good galvanization and build. Don’t pay more. Easy to attach hooks. Double up if chains don’t match your hoop.
