4 years later – My son has had this backpack for 4 years since 1st grade. He is now going into 5th and the only reason we are replacing it is because he is wanting a new color/pattern. It is still in fantastic shape with a little wear and tear. The zippers still work perfectly and the Velcro does too. It’s a great size and lightweight. He has crammed it full of heavy books and snow gear for school and put it literally through the wringer and it is still significantly useful. He has beat the heck out of this backpack, and it’s stood the test of time, lol. Before school started this year we had purchased a different brand ….which lasted a week and a 1/2 before the zipper broke. Coming back now to this same backpack with just a different pattern this time. Highly recommend this bag!

Good as a middle school back pack. – My 7th grade grandson loves this backpack. The color is good, it has multiple zippered areas for his various school supplies and a separate zippered area on the back for his tablet. He uses the side pouches for carrying water bottles. The con is the shoulder straps should be more padded than they are.

Sturdy & affordable camo backpacks shouldn’t be this hard to find. – We looked for weeks! We were nervous to buy this one online ’cause the (affordable) camo backpacks in stores were flimsy & plastic feeling & way smaller than they looked online. Thankfully, this one did not disappoint! It’s held up to our 8 year old taking it on adventures through the woods for a few months now without wear or tear. Would recommend!

Time Tested – We have owned a similar Eastsport backpack for at least 4 years. It has held up to almost daily school use by my teenage son. It was finally wearing out, so we replaced it with this one and have been really happy with it so far. Pretty amazing that they still make quality products like this!
