Easy, portable, but foam condenses so best for smaller kids – We got this beam for my 7 year old to practice gymnastics at home. I like that it is lightweight and folds up for easy storage. I wish the top had a sturdier top layer however. My daughter is only 55lbs but since it’s foam, it condenses a bit when she steps on it. I guess a sturdier bean wouldn’t be lightweight anymore though.

Iffy quality – We bought the purple one for my daughter’s birthday. It’s lightweight and easy to store. However, within the first few hours, the storage bag drawstring fell apart and the stitching around the Velcro on the beam began to come loose. Really disappointing for the price.

Daughter’s foot sinks into it making it difficult to practice realistically. However, it is affordable, lightweight and folds nicely into the corner. She likes it and uses it a lot.
