This is a good option for something heavy like a phone or GPS – Very robust with a stout D-clip. Wish the rope around the neck was less stiff. This is a good option for something heavy like a phone or GPS. Wouldn’t use it for something like a USB flash drive. It is overkill for small devices like an ID set or USB drive. This should last me awhile. Hopefully the rope will soften up a bit.

Great lanyard – Nice lanyard. The safety breakaway connector is nice and strong. I was worried about it being too easy to come open with the weight of a GPS receiver hanging on it, but it is very secure. It’s definitely not coming open unless it needs to.

Nice lanyard but cane untied the first time I used it. – Seemed like a good lanyard at first but one side of the small strings knot came undone and pulled out of the plastic housing. I was snorkeling with my phone and could have lost it forever! Luckily the string didn’t slip through because the loose end tangled with itself. I wouldn’t expect this to happen to all of them but make sure you give a good tug test because whoever is tying the knots may not be doing a great job.
