multi use – I am so pleased with this purchase. I bought a metal umbrella stand to use with a beach umbrella at outdoor events, but the weight bag that came with it tore the first time I used it. So, I looked for a different product, and found these bags. They work perfectly for my need. I have used them both for the umbrella stand and velcroed them to the pegs of a small 8X8 canopy. They worked perfectly for both applications.

Good quality, strong bags – Just arrived a couple days ago so I don’t know about long term yet, but they seem very tightly stitched and high quality. The zipper, Velcro, and handle all look great. They were easy to fill, nice wide opening.

Perfect Sandbags for my Boat’s Center Console Cover – My boats Center Console Cover was susceptible to wind/storms and would ride up and hang over the steering wheel of my boat. I needed something to hold down the Cover so I bought this set of 4 sandbags along with a set of Tarp clips. I connected the Sandbags to the Tarp clips using Cable ties then Tightened the Tarp clips onto the Center Console Cover (one on each of the 4 sides). This combination worked perfectly and now the Console Cover remains in place even during storms. Note: I put about 8-10 lbs of sand in each sandbag.

very good…but not great for extended outdoor use – I use these to hold down my umbrella bases in the back yard. They faded quickly and the black handle/strap deteriorated in the weather. Granted, we have LOTS of high heat and sun in the southern central CA valley. I’ve only had one umbrella blow over while weighted down with one these. It’s a good product, and I’ll likely buy some more, but they’re not designed for year-round exposure (guess I’ll have to bend all the way over, pick them up and put them away when not in use!).
