Can’t get past the smell – These seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, and I was so excited when I put one on a water bottle and it fit (almost too tall but not), then I put it on a soda bottle and it fit perfectly, so I tried it on a bottle of Sparkling Ice drink and IT FIT. I was so happy… and then I took a drink and was quickly disappointed. These have a neoprene/plastic smell to them, so when you are taking a drink; it is overpowered by an awful smell. It reminded me of wet shoes. I’ll use them to keep the drinks cooler, but I have to remove it when I want to drink because it smells so awful.

Perfect for wheelchair! – I have a pretty sensitive nose but I don’t smell anything like some of the other reviewers have stated. I use these mainly when I take my elderly mother out in her wheelchair or she uses her walker. It holds a 16.8 ounce water bottle nicely – comes a little high on the bottle but she can still drink from it. There’s a thin strap sewn onto the sleeve and I can hang the bottle from the back of the wheelchair. It makes it easy for me to get and hand to her. Strap is sewn on very securely so no worries about it breaking. This is absolutely perfect for us!

HaiMay bottle sleeves – These bottle sleeves are as shown above. There’s one problem: They are very tight on the 16.9oz.bottles, very difficult to get on the bottle! I have figured out that if I stretch the top of the sleeve, I can work it on!

Cute…Catch The bottle sweat…But.. – They do not keep water bottles cold much longer than if I just wrapped a paper towel around them. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement.. sigh.. I freeze bottles of water because I live in a very hot State in the SW.. I put a wrapped bottle or two by my bed at night so I will have cold water all night…my kids laughed at me because I wrapped them in a couple layers of paper towels.. Sadly the paper towels work better than these cute holders. HOWEVER… these are easier to throw in my purse as the towels do get damp and these do not. So, while disappointed they will still get used. The lesson is.. going for the cute ones instead of the ones with a LOT of good ratings is NOT always the smart way to go.
