Very water resistant. Rubbery feel. Very large, lots of space – There is a lot of room in this duffle. It is rubbery and tough, so I believe very waterproof. This can either be a duffel or worn as a backpack. My son plays soccer and he thought this bag was too big. There’s alot to this bag, a shoe compartment, clasps to hold it folded, pockets.. unfortunately my son was not willing to use it because of it’s size. But, it’s a really nice bag for someone who would be out in the elements or would need to protect items from rain or water… this would be the bag for you.

Heavy Duty Bag – The Haimont bag is strong and built to last. The bag is used primarily for football and it fits all of my sons equipment. Items such as football helmet, pads, cleats, and clothes. The bag has plenty of storage compartments. It is rugged and rainproof as well. It would be nice if you could remove the shoulder straps but that is not an option.

Heavyweight/Waterproof duffel that can be used as a backpack – I was trying to think what the fabric on this bag reminded me of and then it came to me– the pontoons on an inflatable Zodiac boat. That isn’t a bad thing if you need a bag that is going to take a bit of abuse and yet continue to protect your stuff.

Duffel backpack success – I’ve been looking for something like this. Many of the backpacks are way too intricate and complicated. This is perfect for what I want. A duffle bag with backpack straps. They have a pouch the straps tuck into whe yiu want to just carry it like a bag. The straps are padded well. Separate shoe compartment. In addition if I bring this on a plane, I can open it up quickly to get to what I need.
