Great for… water – Great for bringing liquid, definitely water, anywhere. Ah who cares, bring booze anywhere to have a good time. Hiking, skiing, concerts, wedding. This thing works and is incredible for the price. Leaks a little I guess.

this water bottle rocks!! – I use it for snowboarding and I LOVE IT. I have had a lot of collapsible water bottles and they ALWAYS break. Sturdy and pliable. Only thing is the lid doesn’t thread right sometimes and that makes it leak. Once I figured that out and make sure it’s threaded right. Good to go.

Hardcore, doesn’t leak — I’ve been waiting for it to pop – This hydrapak is amazing — I’m a rock climber, and I’ve put this thing through the ringer. I attach it to my harness by putting a carabiner through the sturdy built-in loop (along with all my other sharp gear, but it doesn’t pop), and it’s great because it doesn’t leak at all and it gets lighter/more collapsable the more you drink from it. Perfect for my adventures. I’ve taken it on climbing trips to Mexico and the Black Hills with this thing hanging on my harness on multipitches and chimney climbs where I’m literally squishing it with all my body weight against sharp rock totally expecting it to pop, but it survived! And it doesn’t negatively impact my climbing. On my most recent trip it finally popped a teeny hole at the top; it’s still usable but sounds funny because you’re slurping in mostly air to get to the water, but I intend to patch it and expect it to be completely fine. But for $19, I’m so impressed that it didn’t pop sooner, and the price makes my decision easy to buy a spare.

Pretty good for universal Florida – The bag collapsed pretty tightly into a Fanny pack and didn’t leak. Though it doesn’t have a straw, you can drink from it like one which works well. When filling it at the coke stations at universal, the spout is hard to see while filling with water and I ended up getting a bunch of water on the side of the bag. Not a big deal but you need to dry it off before stowing again. I thought I’d have a problem with condensation but nope; pack stayed dry. The drink spout screws on/off and is not connected to the bag. The bag is smaller than I expected but it still worked great!

Taste is a concern with these. – Am enjoying these (2) but, had to find out so I looked-up the material (miraculous for so many challenging applications) and it is very hygroscopic; meaning it readily absorbs anything it is exposed-to. Soap, oils, cleansers, etc. can be tasted for quite a few cycles. Tried lemons, baking soda, vinegar, etc. Did not try the mfg.’s cleaning accessory product – maybe that’s the solution. The convenient usage features make-up for the taste issue.

Great for travel, crappy lid design – Overall I love this bottle. It holds a lot of money and compresses to take practically no room in your luggage. I bought this because I needed something that would hold at least 1L, but wouldn’t be bulky since I spend about 80% of my time traveling for work. Overall I think it’s awesome and best of all is that it doesn’t leak like I anticipated, but since the bottle has little structure, making sure you get the lid secured on completely can be a struggle which I have failed at on multiple occasions. Sometimes it seems like the lid is secure so you walk away feeling confident only to find water all over the bottom of your bag. I’d recommend this in place of other bottles, but be diligent in getting the cap on

Best for horseback riding! – I love love this bottle for horseback riding. I needed something flexible I could fit in my saddlebag that straps to my waist. This bottle fits the bill. It doesn’t leak even when I ride for half a day bouncing around in tough terrain. The bottle always secures shut after use. It’s super easy to keep hold of the horse and grab this bottle and drink one handed. I wish I had found this bottle sooner!
