All the preschoolers have one… – I’m not joking, when my 2 1/2 year old started preschool, there was a bin for all the kid’s water jugs and every single kid had one of these.

The best! – Keeps drinks cold, leak proof and no residue leaches into the drink itself from the stainless steel interior. Customer service was amazing too. I contacted Hydro Flask directly asking how I can purchase additional straws for this bottle (mine was ruined in the dishwasher) and they immediately sent me a replacement since it is covered under warranty without my asking. So wonderful finding a company who stands by their product without question. Will definitely be buying from them again.

It only leaks at specific angles – I bought this cup to replace my 17-month-old’s Tommy Tippy straw cup for water. I hate the taste imparted by silicone straws. My friend recommended this Hydroflask because of how easy it is to clean, and I 100% agree. If you have any basic brush set for cleaning bottle parts, you can easily get to every crevice in this cup’s lid. No hidden traps for water to collect and mold to grow. Very simple design.

Great for Preschool, Difficult to Clean – Love the bottle, but does anyone really ever get these type of bottles completely clean? The bottle is dishwasher safe, but I just don’t see how it gets clean unless you have a special pipe cleaner to get the straw and spout clean. Also, the rubber ring on the lid never really comes off. I bought a special tool to get it off and clean underneath. I believe the instructions say to soak in vinegar.

Good quality product with a minor flaw – Got the Hydro Flask and quite happy with the product. It is a solid build, easy to clean, and easy for the kids to open the mouth straw. A minor flaw I mentioned in the tittle is the rubber wrap at the bottom. While the rubber protects the bottle from tear and wear, it makes it difficult to slide in a pocket with rubber elastic band or mesh. It is always a struggle for me to put the bottle into my kid’s back pack side pocket. The problem can be solved by removing the bottom rubber wrap but I will lose the protection. I gave it 5 stars but in fact it should be 4.5.
