The reflective strip is so important, they are lightweight, and of course the red stands out, so easy to spot when needed.

    Easy to spot, especially with the reflective strip – I bought these for our youngest Cub Scout den for their hiking requirement. They were a good size and the parents all liked that they are easy to spot in the woods, especially the reflective strip.

Most had grommet failures and such by the end of it. If these were some name brand, more expensive option, it would be something to fuss over, but as the saying goes, you can have good or you can have cheap, but you rarely can have both. These fall in the “cheap and decent enough to get by” category.
