Well made buts needs storage – My dog’s favorite toy is a Spalding Intermediate size street basketball…..slightly deflated so she can pick it up and run if we’re playing kickball/soccer. I’ve had other ball pumps and deflating a ball was easy but deflating the ball with this pump required a lot of squeezing pressure on the ball. I haven’t tried to inflate a ball. This product comes w/ 4 replacement needles but you’re told NOT to unscrew the bottom cap so there’s no place to store them. I’ve like my previous pumps better.

Nice and easy to use – We bought a basketball (from Amazon) that was delivered a bit underinflated, so we needed something to re-inflate it. We had a variety of pumps, but none that would fit into a basketball. So I thought this was a decent priced option, especially since it came with the extra needles (I can very easily see us losing one or several over the passage of time). It was super easy to use, and pumped up the ball without any issues. We also tried it on our son’s toy basketball (similar inflation mechanism, but softer rubber as it is designed for toddlers/preschoolers), and it also fit and worked pretty well. It’s pretty compact (similar in size to my forearm), and definitely got the job done!

Also does not seat properly when pumping up balls so air releases as you are pumping. Expect to take twice as long as properly working air pump.

I coach youth soccer and wanted something small that I could keep with the equipment to use when needed. It feels a little cheaply made, but I believe it should hold up under normal use, and it’s cheap enough to replace if it breaks.
