Well made – I originally bought the one with the straw lid but it became a pain to clean. I much prefer this chug lid. No leaking, easy to clean.

Wash regularly! – It should go without saying, but the lid should be washed regularly. The plastic rings should be removed and thoroughly scrubbed at least 1x week or black mold spots will form. I scrub by hand, but placing in the dishwasher will do the same job.

Doesn’t leak…. not super sturdy – I ordered this for my son to put on his Simple Modern water bottom that came with a straw lid. The straw lid leaked. 🙁 This one didn’t and he really liked it. 4 stars because with regular use it broke after 4 months. He really liked it, so I ordered another. I do wish Simple Modern offered this lid instead of the straw lid.

They do the job – I had two water bottles that were perfectly fine but needed new lids. These have been perfect. I do notice that ice does not last as long as the original lids, and I do get leaking from one of the lids (ironically, I get it from the only one I assumed was leakproof), but for now having these means I don’t have to buy a whole new water bottle, I’m happy.

Reasonable Price, Great Product, Helpful for Simple Modern Summit Water Bottles – I love Simple Modern water bottles. We have several different sizes of the Summit line, and this three-pack of different lids gives a great variety of options to use for different needs. The color is exactly as pictured online, and matches the graphite bottle perfectly. The straw lid is great–we have had no leaks at all, and it is easy to drink from. Some straw lids create so much suction you have to unscrew the cap to drink. That is not the case with this straw lid. Because the outside of the straw part that you drink from is not silicone, there is not as much issue with mold/mildew that you can’t clean. We clean all of our lids/bottles frequently, using brushes made for getting inside the small crevices and straws, so we haven’t experienced problems with mildew at this point. The chug lid is nice for drinking larger amounts at once, but it is a slightly smaller hole so you don’t dump liquid all over yourself. The lid also sort of snaps back, so it is held back while you drink, and doesn’t hit you in the nose. The flip lid is nice for someone who prefers to sip a drink. All three lids have great carrying handles. If I would change anything at all, I would say perhaps to have the handles be hinged so they could go straight up or fold down, but adding a hinge also provides a stress point that could allow for breakage more easily. Overall, we are very pleased with all of these lids, and would definitely purchase again.
