Great design, questionable quality, horrendous customer service. – I purchased my bottle last year and it was an effective option for my regimen until it shattered one cold morning in the Midwest. I reached out to customer service via e-mail, on instagram direct message, and even in the comment section to which I received no response. A warranty is only as good as the company’s willingness to honor it. The design of the bottle is great but I question the quality of the materials used to construct it. One of the main factors in my decision to purchase this product was the lifetime warranty but due to the fact that you can not reach customer service by any means, the warranty is merely a marketing tactic. I noticed another customer experienced a similar issue with a different item. I am still awaiting a response as of now. With this level of customer service and lack of communication, I don’t see a reason for you to invest in this bottle from SOMA that offers a lifetime warranty that they will not honor instead of one from another brand that doesn’t but instead will actually last a lifetime.

Breaks instantly – I had this bottle for a few days and it broke. It fell less than one foot and shattered. Which sucks cause I loved it while it lasted.

Product plastic lid breakdown/leaked into contents – Wanted a nonreactive glass bottle that would not leach chemicals. Very disappointed in product. The glass was fine; however, the plastic lid had broken down by the minimal lemonade added to water. After two weeks of use, my husband noticed black tiny flakes floating at the top of his drink and discovered it was the plastic lid that was breaking down.

Love my new bottle – I have several Soma bottles and this one is perfect for workouts. You can snap the bottle open with one hand and easily close it back. Extra locking button prevents the top from opening in your bag, it’s leakproof, easy to clean, just perfect overall
