Good solid whistle – Nothing to complain about – reffed a few games with it so far and nobody complained about not being able to hear it. There are options for how to hold it with the lanyard and wrist strap. I like the carry case for each whistle – they just get tossed in the rugby bag with muddle spikes and clothes and I don’t worry about them getting clogged up. The boxes are a little tight – I assume if you have a preference for the wrist or lanyard, you remove the other. I don’t use either (I use a thick rubber band around my middle finger to keep the whistle in my palm), but don’t want to toss or lose the others because I sometimes lend them out for a practice or a game and others have a different preference. It does take a little bit of fiddling to get everything situated in the box after using it.

A Great Set of Whistles! – I bought this set for my daughter and son-in-law because they’re coaching my granddaughter’s soccer team. I read some reviews that said the whistles were not loud enough…….I can’t imagine why! These are great. The little case each one was in, , the lanyard, and wrist-let, plus, the mouth guard make these an awesome value.

Loud Whistle – The Fox 40 whistle is my favorite whistle to use in PE. It makes a consistent sound that is easily heard in the high school gym. The grip on the mouth piece makes it easy to hold in your mouth when moving around to call a game as well.
