Best I could find on Amazon – Hard to find the “perfect” bottle when you want glass. I am using this everyday. However, when I mix up my electrolyte in the morning I have been forced to use the solid lid to shake it up as the straw lid will leak all over. I keep it in my car drink holder and it fits nicely. Others were sloppy or too tight and the dimensions don’t mean a whole lot as each cup holder is slightly different. You just have to try them out. I am talking about a shift column holder not the door holder. Yes, handle look is a bit sharp. Yes, the straw is plastic. I just could not find a better glass bottle.

THIS BOTTLE MADE ME A MULTITASKER! – I work in an office where I’m constantly running around. A typical day I have MAYBE a cup of water to 5 cups of coffee. I always knew I had a problem with my water intake and as hard as I tried I could never get myself to drink water. I bought this mainly because I hoped that if I bought a real water bottle it would force me to drink it by the sheer fact that I spent money on it. Well I’m happy to report that after a few days use, I’m up to 3-4 of these full bottles of water a day just at work. As cheesy as this may sound the lid with the straw makes it so easy for me to work and drink water at the same time ( I will make sure multitasking is added to my resume now). The glass bottle keeps my water from getting a nasty taste in it and the glass feels thick and sturdy. I will note that I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re planning on taking it to go because it is pretty heavy. But for me just to keep it in my office is totally fine. I love that it is dishwasher safe, since I can just throw it into the dishwasher at work a couple times a week and voila! I’m so obsessed with it I’m debating whether I want to get the 2 pack so I can keep one at home and give one to my fiancé, or maybe just keep both LOL.

Started to leak really bad from the top. – Loved the bottle itself. The glass and rubber grip were good. The lid with the straw leaked very soon after purchase. It did not seal tightly enough when closed after a few weeks of use.

Great bottle! Durable, but heavier than plastic bottles. – I decided to buy 2 different water bottles from Amazon to see what I liked best. One was this glass one, one was plastic from another company. The BIGGEST difference was the weight. The weight actually surprised me since it’s so much heavier, but nothing I can’t handle. Some people might not like the heavier material though. I don’t notice a plastic taste when I use a plastic bottle, so that wasn’t my reason for trying glass. I just was curious. I have had the bottle almost 2 weeks. I have NO mold issue in the straw lid like many reviews talk about in many straw lids reviews on water bottles (I have only used the straw lid, not the other 2, but it’s NICE to have a back-up if I have issues!) I have a cheap bottle brush from Wal-Mart that has a smaller bottle brush in the handle. I think it came form the baby section of the store. It’s the perfect size for cleaning inside the straw. I don’t own a dishwasher so I have to wash by hand. I use dish soap and the bottle brushes, then let it air out for at least an hour before refilling in between uses. I use a colored, sugar-free water flavoring in my water. While using the straw it will pick up a small amount of color from the flavoring. But with soap and the small brush I mentioned, it washes away clean every time. So by doing actual scrubbing inside the straw instead of just running hot water through it, I have NO build-up or mold whatsoever. It’s also durable! I’ve dropped it once or twice and the cat even knocked it off the table once. No cracks at all. The other minor issue is the handle on the straw lid. It isn’t shaped in a way that makes it easy to carry that much weight by just the handle. It hurts my fingers because of the shape. So I have to carry the bottle by the bottle itself instead of the handle when going walking. The rubber makes for an easy grip and fits my small hands just fine. I haven’t needed to remove the rubber when cleaning, and I also do not see any mold or build-up under the rubber. Overall, I like this bottle, and I’m glad I bought it.
