It worked – My son had eight soccer balls that were leaking or flat. I used this product and it have worked in six of the eight balls. In two balls I had to do more than one application before stopping the leakage. I am happy with the results and will buy again if I need it.

It sealed my ball, but the weight is a bit off now – I purchased this in hopes that my $50 Tachikara ball could be saved after a puncture with a staple. I followed the instructions closely, including bunching and rolling it around to ensure even coating on the inside. It did seal the ball well. No leaks for the weeks now. For casual use the ball is now functional, but it is slightly heavier and just a little off balance. My more discriminating player friends and I find it just bad enough that we don’t use it for our regular games any more. I will keep it to practice setting, but will have to buy a new ball for the games.

Ball Doctor – Easy to follow instructions, the name and design give the impression of doing a medical vaccination to a wounded being, in this case, a Nike basketball. First found Ball Doctor on the shelves of a sports store on Camelback Road (Phoenix, AZ!). The outdoor basketball atmosphere in the desert valley was no less than superlative. One full court surrounded by desert flora and fauna was a favorite venue. Some church owned the court and property. There were other places unique and special in fine quality all through the Arizona Earthscapes, avenues, and hidden away places, like school yards.

Pros and cons – I play bball twice a week with my favorite Evolution ball. Brand new it cost about $70 dollars. Ball was be flat after 1 hour of play. Totally flat the next day. So bought this and followed the directions to the tee. Make sure lots of air was out of the ball. Put the needle in the ball and squeezed out lots of air. Used the WHOLE TUBE on 1 ball. Pumped up the ball and dribble for 20 minutes. Ball works great for over a month. Never needed to pump, BUT the ball weight of my Evolution is ever so slightly heavier. Still guys like to use it over some others. Was worried that once I have to repump will break the “seal”. Nope. Still good 2 months later.

Didn’t work – Tried to use it on an inflatable doggie basket ball.

It mostly works – I bought this product thinking that I could use it for several items. It turns out that each injector is intended for just one. That being said, I tried it and it seemed to work okay for the first couple of days. I used it on a volleyball that was impaled on a sago palm. There is still a slow leak, but the ball does hold up for a couple of rounds of play. I’m not opposed to trying this product again and possibly bouncing the ball more during the curing phase.

Realized it was old and dried too late – We realized it was old, the mixture separated and dried up too late to return it. We tried to force it into the ball not realizing it was dried up in the tip and it exploded all over us, staining a team sweat jacket and a jersey. I’ve used this product before just fine but this time it’s obviously sat on a shelf too long and nobody cared to check.

It worked – I used it on a leather rugby ball with an air bladder which was leaking at the valve. I didn’t think it was going to work as I couldn’t get the material to inject, but amazingly it is now holding air after about two weeks. I guess a little dab will do in this particular situation.
