A “good enough” shelf – I have to give this 4 stars because it is good enough and does what it sets out to do, but it doesn’t wow you with heavy duty build quality.

Shallow – For the price, this is a good shelf. The screw heads are on the cheap side, however, a quick trip to the hardware store solved this. If you properly anchor the shelf, it will hold all the equipment it is advertised to hold (mount to studs!) The ads show the shelf holding just a couple baseball gloves-this is accurate. I hoped it held more, but the shelves are shallow. It can really just (picking one sport) hold four basketballs. This is a good shelf to mount low for the kids to put their equipment away and still be able to walk by it in the garage.

Does the job – You can never have enough shelving and storage space in the garage. This rack adds nicely to that shelving and storage capacity. The instructions don’t help much when putting the rack together, but with a little trial and error, it assembles without too much fuss. The rack is very solid and strong, and properly anchored in the garage wall, it can hold quite a bit–as the photos detail. No complaints, good buy.

Strong, sturdy garage sports rack – I like the fact it’s powder coated steel and a simplistic, minimalist design. Installation is basic and straightforward. Once properly anchored (I found the stud in the wall) it’s going to easily hold bar bells to sports bags. A good value my only wish is for it to be wider. I hope that’s helpful

For the price it’s great – I am looking for the perfect spot to hang this in my garage, but out of the box we know this alone won’t solve the storage issue for all of our basketballs and other sport balls… but it’s a start – will probably need a few of these. I’m not sure the hooks will be able to hold my kid’s baseball bag – it’s a catchers bag and quite heavy. But good for jackets or other light items. Also not sure I’ll be able to line this up with studs but some heavy duty anchors will work.
