Flawed Mfg. Nice design – I like the design. The straw is well protected, the rigid handle has opening so you can easily hook it onto your jean’s belt hoops. It leaks sometimes when it is on its side. The biggest flaw is the manufacturing of the top has sealed two tiny vents (hidden under the white silicone disk) for airflow, making it feel like the bottle is fighting you when you try to drink. I fixed mine by burning through the obstructions with a red-hot paperclip. I liked it so much I got one for my significant other.

HOWEVER!!! – I have to agree with a few reviews that the straw is challenging to suck out of and if you have cold liquid that gets to room temperature it causes expansion inside the bottle which then means that next time you open it, liquid gushes out and makes a big mess. The trick is to remove a small cap over the air hole on the cover. After you do this, this bottle is perfect!

AIRFLOW HOLE! – Love this water bottle! BUT for the last month seemingly for no reason it would occasionally shoot water at me which was particularly annoying in bed! Then I looked at the top and saw that the airflow hole had a plug in it. Pulled that baby out easily, saw that there was in fact a stop for thar hole on the mouth peice so it will not leak when closed. Tested thar theory and so far so good.
