Outstanding company and product – I bought this Frost Buddy as a second bottle. I already have one and love it. I saw this plain steel version for much cheaper and thought, who cares it doesn’t have a graphic. After using it, it doesn’t seem to support the same quality as my original one. The mouth piece seems to have quite a bit of play in it. This causes air leaks and makes it challenging to get water at times. The bottle itself is flawless so I am guessing it is just a quality control issue on the tops.

Short term use water bottle – Over all I would recommend it for picnics, car, school back packs that allow it to hook with a loop, short day trips. I would not recommend this if you need it for extreme heat situations where you need the ice not to melt (such as a Yeti, Tal, etc)

The stainless steel bottle is really good, but the straw top, well… – Aside from a big around bottle, less easy to grasp (my choice, my fault) I love the bottle. The straw cap/top not so much. It does NOT leak! It is easy to remove for filling! Throw it in the dishwasher to get it clean, NO problem! … but, when drinking from it… well… Unless the straw is ALL THE WAY open you will be sucking air. Since I have another, smaller bottle, with a cap (not a straw top) that fits THIS bottle all is well . As long as you don’t mind a little bit of a touchy straw top this thing is very good.
